Gold habbits die hard

When it comes to jewellery, I like to keep it simple, delicate and gold.

In a time where channelling Edward Scissor Hands via thumb rings, stacking rings, midi rings and hand chains seems to be the way to go, finding any form of subtle adornment has been tricky.
(Please note, I love this look when it's done well... it's not often done well.)

However, the end is not nigh! Let me introduce you to, Orelia Jewelry. They have a gorgeous selection of accessories that use semi precious components and beads, combined with beautiful charms and amazing Swarovski elements at a price that won't break the bank. They even have a section dedicated to minimalist embellishments!

I was lucky enough to be sent a selection of gorgeous pieces, the packaging was beautiful and the items themselves are of an extremely high quality.

Since being sent these, I've bought two friends birthday presents from Orelia. I think they enjoyed receiving them as much as I did!

The Anti-Fad Diet

Last week, after failing to stick to a carb-free diet, I found myself with my tail between my legs googling; 'quick ways to lose weight'.

After a good hour of sifting through pages and pages of weight loss resources, I realised that I've pretty much tried every fad diet out there. I then realised that if any of them actually worked, I wouldn't be sat here goolging in desperation clad with a mind-set that has in the past, caused me to become really quite unwell.

So, I came up with an idea. I mean, it's really a very novel idea; eat normally.

I totally understand that anyone reading this may think that I've completely lost the plot but the one thing I have never done or can't remember doing is, eating three balanced meals a day.

Ergo (as it literally was the only diet I hadn't tried) I decided to document my journey on what I have named 'The Anti-Fad Diet'.

Four days in, I haven't weighed myself. However, my stomach definitely feels flatter and I was able to zip up my jeans without passing out this morning!
This may be a very tiny feat but to achieve this without one stomach rumble or having to eat a grapefruit is really rather satisfying!

Working Wardrobe

Being a teacher means that while the rest of you have been slaving away, I have been basking in the glorious British sunshine lying in bed watching Netflix for eight weeks.
Alas, the beginning of term is fast approaching and instead of planning lessons,  I am sat here planning my wardrobe.

Getting myself ready for work was increasingly becoming an utter palaver. I don't know if this is because I work in Chelsea where everyone happens to be in perfect shape (physically and financially) or if I'm just becoming more and more insecure in my old age (I will genuinely have 2-3 costume changes just to pop to Tesco)

So more importantly than the next generation's education, here are my Autumn wardrobe wants!
