The internet seems to be a wash with guides on how to piece together the perfect seasonal outfit. I thought I'd focus on some of the smaller items that I was lucky enough to either receive, or pick up in the sales over the festive season.
You won't be able to wear these things by themselves, but what they can do is transform a simple ensemble into something slightly more special.
You can't look good unless you feel good. So, I'll begin with the Clinique skin care system. I've been using this religiously (day and night) since I opened it on christmas day. My skin is glowing.I'm particularly impressed with the clarifying lotion, it immediately leaves your skin feeling toned, refreshed, tighter and pure.
Chanel Rouge Coco 54 Le Basier lipstick, I love this product! The hydrating lip creme colour is really easy to apply, and contains a 'hydratendre complex' to help condition and soften lips.
I found these houndstooth kitten heels for £15 in the Topshop sale. They are a great statement piece and as I posted previously I am a real fan of this timeless print. I'm looking forward to teaming these with a simple monochrome outfit for an understated yet bold look.
I managed to buy this Osprey pony hide purse (don't worry it's not real pony) from a retail outlet for £39. A nice purse is a great way to continue revealing that you're style savvy throughout the evening. Long after your outfit has been taken in people will always pick up on the finer details.
Let's just hope you don't have much cause to get it out, ladies!
This River Island necklace was bought for £7 in the sales. It's completely over the top but like the heels, I love the idea that one small item can instantly give a plain black dress an exiting, yet tasteful twist.
This Marc Jacobs watch was bought for me by my very clever boyfriend and was exactly the one I wanted. In recent times we've seen women's fashion abandoning feminine time pieces for more masculine oversized models. To me this watch strikes the balance between the two.
I absolutely love the Clinique skin care! I recently included the Clinique 3 step system in my current obsessions post, it really does leave your face feeling so refreshed and clean and that necklace is gorgeous. Great post! :)
